Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the current moment, without judgment or distraction. It involves paying attention to your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations in a non-judgmental way, with an attitude of curiosity and openness. In mindfulness, one cultivates an awareness of their thoughts and emotions as they arise, and instead of reacting impulsively to them, they learn to observe them and allow them to pass without getting caught up in them. By doing so, mindfulness can help individuals develop a greater sense of emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being. Mindfulness can be practiced through various techniques, including meditation, deep breathing exercises, body scan practices, and mindful movement, such as Yoga or Tai Chi. With regular practice, mindfulness can help individuals become more attuned to their inner experiences and better able to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
